
Quantity surveying

Quantity surveyors and estimators usually have a basic education in either civil or mechanical engineering and several years of work experience as construction engineers. In addition, they have completed either a specialized professional degree or on-the-job training that enables them to perform surveying and estimating tasks in the field.
