Site management
Someone has to hold the site together — the contractors, the schedule, the safety file and the client's expectations. That is a job in itself, and it is not the same job as engineering.
Scope
- Contractor coordination — multiple trades, competing access, shared resources
- Progress control — measurement, reporting, early warning on slippage
- Safety — enforcement of the client’s regime, toolbox talks, incident handling
- Interface management — between disciplines, suppliers and the client’s organization
- Documentation — site records, punch lists, handover packages
